Brooklyn Byers

Brooklyn Byers is the head coach of the 12.2 team in Vancouver and brings both high-level playing experience and contagious enthusiasm to the gym. A former six-rotation outside hitter at Clark College, she broke three program records and still holds the No. 1 spot for career kills with 497. She later continued her playing career at Arizona State University with the women’s club team as an outside and right-side hitter.

Brooklyn began coaching with Aspire in 2023 and quickly fell in love with helping athletes grow and enjoy the game. Known for her outgoing personality and positive energy, she creates an environment where players feel supported, confident, and excited to compete.

Her coaching philosophy is simple and heartfelt: do what you love and love who you do it with. Brooklyn’s goal is to give her athletes the same unforgettable memories, friendships, and love for volleyball that the sport has given her.
