Erin will be assisting our 11.1 team in Vancouver this season! She brings extensive experience as a setter at both the high school and collegiate levels, along with a passion for developing young athletes.
Erin played volleyball from 6th through 12th grade on her high school and club teams. She continued her career in college, spending her freshman year at New Mexico State University as a setter/libero before transferring to Colorado Mesa University, where she spent the remaining college years as a setter! Over the past three years, Erin has coached youth volleyball at various levels, including elementary, middle school, and high school club teams. Last year, she joined the Aspire Family!
Erin’s coaching philosophy emphasizes a mix of encouragement, positive coaching, discipline, and accountability. She believes volleyball is not just about mastering the game, but also about developing character and life skills. At younger ages, she focuses on maximizing touches on the ball to build confidence and skill.
Erin is originally from San Diego and her family moved to Ridgefield, WA recently after her husband retired from his 20+ years of service in the SEAL teams!
