Katie Vroman

Katie is our wonderful head coach for the 12.2 Vancouver team! She brings over a decade of playing experience and six years of coaching athletes across multiple age groups.

Katie grew up in Vancouver and graduated from Prairie High School before continuing her volleyball career at Southern Oregon University, where she played as an outside/opposite hitter while studying Biology and Health Exercise Science. After college, she coached and worked in corporate health and fitness in the Bay Area before returning to Vancouver last year. Katie is also an Aspire NW Alum!

Katie’s coaching philosophy focuses on developing players through teamwork, resilience, self-discipline, and life skills. She aims to help athletes build a solid foundation that will support them throughout their volleyball journeys, no matter how far they choose to go.
